Salt Quill
@mbaor6htua
We're finally tackling the faded, peeling paint on our 1920s brick house. The old lead-based layers are chipping badly, and the wood trim around the windows is completely bare in spots. A pro is stripping it all back to bare masonry and wood, then primering carefully before applying a high-quality elastomeric paint that can breathe. It's dusty, noisy work, but the house already looks a hundred times better, and we're hoping the new coat lasts for the next decade.
